After breakfast at your riad, your driver will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. in a comfortable vehicle and set off toward Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs, often featured in international films. Explore the kasbah with a local guide and soak in its rich history and stunning architecture.
The journey continues to the Skoura Oasis, where you can stroll through vast palm groves and visit the fortified Kasbah Amredhil. Following the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, you pass through Kelâa M’Gouna and the Valley of the Roses, stopping at a local cooperative to see how roses are transformed into perfumes and beauty products.
After lunch, enjoy an off-road drive through scenic oases, witnessing daily life in Berber villages. Along the way, visit caves used seasonally by nomadic Berbers, sharing tea and stories with the locals. The day concludes in the Dades Valley, where you can explore the surroundings before enjoying dinner and overnight accommodation in a hotel or traditional kasbah.
Start the day with a visit to the Dades Gorges, walking along the river and through the striking landscapes. Continue to Tinghir and the impressive Todra Gorges, where a short walk takes you between towering canyon walls sculpted by the river.
The journey then leads toward Erg Chebbi via Tinjdad, stopping for lunch along the way. Stop in N’Qob for lunch before continuing along ancient caravan routes, crossing charming villages and ever-changing scenery.
Arrive in Zagora in the late afternoon, where you’ll stay overnight in a welcoming guesthouse. Dinner is included, offering a chance to relax and prepare for the final day of your journey.
After breakfast, visit the village of Tamgroute to explore its renowned Quranic Library and traditional green pottery workshops, prized throughout southern Morocco.
Return to Ouarzazate via the Drâa Valley, following parts of the ancient caravan route off-road.
