You will also visit a local argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional extraction process and its many uses.
Next, explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a remarkable example of Moroccan earthen architecture and a famous filming location for movies like Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and the series Game of Thrones. After lunch in the area, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, and travel through the fragrant Valley of Roses, passing the lush palm groves of Skoura and Boumalne Dades.

After breakfast, visit Kasbah Taourirt and the famous film studios in Ouarzazate. Then, begin your drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping to explore the historic Kasbah Telouet, a former stronghold of the Glaoui family.
Continue via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, pausing for lunch along the way, before reaching Marrakech in the late afternoon. Your 5-day desert adventure concludes with drop-off at your hotel or riad.
